Our Beginning
Back in 1991, Uprise screenplay writer Alan Springer created the acclaimed reggae musical "Rainbow Uprising", produced by Sadlers Wells Theatre with 3 smash-hit seasons on the Central London Fringe.
The script for the stage musical Rainbow Uprising has been transformed into Uprise, an exciting Action/Sci-fi screenplay, Afrofuturism style.

The idea to transform the stage musical to screenplay came about from growing demand over the years for a new stage production. Committing the script to screenplay was no easy task, but a quality screenplay is now ready for production. Stage-writer Alan Springer undertook a course in screenwriting after being awarded a scholarship to learn the craft with the Sundance Institute in Utah, USA.
